中川エリカ

建築家、中川エリカ建築設計事務所代表

1983年東京都生まれ、2005年横浜国立大学工学部建設学科建築学コース卒業、2007年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科建築専攻修了（六角鬼丈研究室）。オンデザイン勤務を経て2014年中川エリカ建築設計事務所設立。2014-2016年横浜国立大学大学院Y-GSA設計助手（小嶋スタジオでは、ハンス・シャロウンのベルリン国立図書館の再読課題に助手として参加）。主な建築に、ヨコハマアパートメント*（2009年）、桃山ハウス（2016年）、八事ハウス（2023年）。*は西田司/オンデザインと共同設計。2021年TOTOギャラリー・間にて個展「JOY in ARCHITECTURE 中川エリカ展」を開催。主な著書に「中川エリカ 建築スタディ集 2007-2020」。

2023 Kazuhiro Kojima Award

Erika Nakagawa

Architect, Representative of Erika Nakagawa office.

Born in Tokyo in 1983, graduated from Yokohama National University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Architecture and Building Science Course in 2005, and completed master degree at Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Architecture / Faculty of Fine Arts, in 2007 (Kijo Rokkaku Laboratory). After working at ondesign partners, established Erika Nakagawa office in 2014. Design assistant at Y-GSA 2014-2016 (participated in Kojima Studio as an assistant in the re-reading assignment of the Berlin State Library designed by Hans Scharoun). Major architectural works include Yokohama Apartment* (2009), Momoyama House (2016), and Yagoto House (2023). * : Co-designed with Osamu Nishida/ondesign partners. Held a solo exhibition, " Erika Nakagawa: JOY in Architecture," at TOTO Gallery・MA in 2021. Major publications include "Erika Nakagawa: Architectural Studies 2007-2020".

第3回 小嶋一浩賞

山田紗子

1984年東京都生まれ。大学在学時にランドスケープデザインを学び、藤本壮介建築設計事務所で設計スタッフとして勤務の後、東京芸術大学大学院に進学。在学時に東京都美術館主催「Arts＆Life：生きるための家」展で最優秀賞を受賞し、原寸大の住宅作品を展示する。独立後の主な仕事として、屋内外を横断する無数の構造材によって一体の住環境とした「daita2019」、形や色彩の散らばりから枠にとらわれない生活を提案した「miyazaki」等の住宅作品や、樹木群と人工物が渾然一体となる環境を立ち上げる2025年大阪関西万博休憩施設（2025年公開）などがある。主な受賞に、第三回日本建築設計学会賞大賞、第三十六回吉岡賞、Under 35 Architects exhibition 2020 Gold Medalなど。

2023 Kazuhiro Kojima Award

Suzuko Yamada

Born in Tokyo, 1984. A Tokyo native and University of California, Berkeley and Tokyo Art University graduate, Yamada set up her independent studio in 2013 in Tokyo, having previously worked at practice Sou Fujimoto Architects. She now teaches in architecture studio at Kyoto University and Tokyo University of Science. In practice, she explores a distinctly experimental architecture having scooped a range of awards (such as recognitions from the Architectural Design Association of Nippon and Japan’s ‘Under 35 Architects’ exhibition in 2020) along the way. Recent work includes a number of residential projects with designs that push the boundaries of domestic architecture.
