水 雁飛

建築家、Yanfei Architects主宰。

1981年生まれ、2004年に中国同済大学建築・都市計画学院を卒業、同大学院にて2007年に修士課程を修了。その後、アメリカに留学し、2009年にプリンストン大学にて建築学修士号を取得。卒業直後、OMAロッテルダムオフィスにて1年間勤務を経て、2012年にYanfei Architectsを設立した。作品は国内外で評価され、2018年に「Lostvilla Boutique Hotel in Yucun」でアメリカ建築協会（AIA）上海支部より優秀賞を受賞。同作で、2019年に中国深圳グローバルデザイン賞（SDA）を受賞。2020年に「Soft Matter」で自然建造・Architecture China Award特別賞、2023年に同賞の若手建築家部門探索賞を受賞した。実務の他、米国シラキュース大学で教鞭を執り、英国王立建築家協会（RIBA）の認定建築家でもある。

Shui Yanfei

Architect, Principal Architect of Yanfei Architects.

Born in 1981, Yanfei received his Bachelor's degree from the College of Architecture and Urban Planning at Tongji University in 2004, and completed his Master's degree at the same institution in 2007. He went on to earn a Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University in 2009. After finishing his education, he worked at OMA in Rotterdam, the Netherlands for one year. In 2012, he founded Yanfei Architects. His work has received several recognitions, including the 2018 Honor Award for Commercial Architecture from the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Shanghai Chapter, for the Lostvilla Boutique Hotel in Yucun; the 2019 Nomination Award from the Shenzhen Global Design Award (SDA), China, also for Lostvilla Boutique Hotel in Yucun; the 2020 Special Project Award from the Architecture China Awards for Soft Matter; and the 2023 Exploration Award for Young Architects from the Architecture China Awards. In addition to his professional practice, Yanfei has taught at Syracuse University in the United States and is a Chartered Architect of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
